Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219. Interment: Greenlawn Cemetery
Clarice Amanda Palmer was born to Constance Cherry and Lamar Long on March 19th, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with the lord on August 8th 2023.
She graduated from East High School and received her associate degree in graphic design from Columbus Technical Institute, and retired from Columbus City Schools after 20 plus years of service.
Clarice was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost at the young age of 9 and continued serving the lord in her adult years at the Church Of Christ of the Apostolic Faith until the time of her death.
Clarice was married to Donald Edward Palmer Sr. May 18th 1962 and to that union was four children Dayna, Donald, Denise and Derek (Leah wife). Four grand children Ciera, Amber, Austin and Christopher (deceased).
Proceeded in death by father Lamar Long, mother Constance Cherry, and Great Grandparents Charles and Catherine Daisy Hammock, sisters Deborah Randolph, Constance Jackson(Husband Robert Jackson), Judith Kelson and Charlene Long, and 5 sister in laws and 2 brother in laws.
Survived by husband Donald E. Palmer Sr, Dayna, Donald, Denise and Derek (Leah) and sister LeAndra Cherry and two sisters-in-law Frankie (Sandy) and Sharon and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
