Clark Autry Compher, 87 of Cincinnati died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Cincinnati. He was born on Sunday, February 27, 1938, in Twin Township, a son of the late Paul Q. and Grace Yoakum Compher.
He is survived by several children, two sisters; Glorianne Compher Manson of Chillicothe and Vicky (Neil) Parker of Frankfort and his close friend, Mary Carter, who he shared his life with. He was preceded in death by one sister; Carol Compher Wickersham and one brother; Roy Compher.
After attending high school at the Twin Township High School, Clark enlisted in the United States Marines in 1958 and served his country until he received his Honorable discharge in 1962. Clark never met a stranger and was accepting of everyone he met. He loved horses and worked as a groomer for a racetrack in Cincinnati until he physically wasn't able.
Cremation has taken place. Clark will be laid to rest on the family plot in Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville.
