Clark Ramsey Hull, 74, born September 16, 1951 in Harlingen Texas, passed away suddenly at home on December 16, 2025.

In his youth, Clark enjoyed playing and later coaching baseball. Later, his interest in Marine Biology began to take root, and he spent several years at Texas A&M in Galveston, which was a transformative time for him both in his career and developing lifelong friendships.

He left Galveston to begin a long and rewarding career in the Oil and Gas Industry, working in Environmental and Regulatory Permitting. Many of us did not know exactly what he did in that role, but it always sounded very important. His oil and gas career began in Houston and led him to California, Peru, and then ultimately back to Houston, a place he loved and was happy to stay until his final days.

Clark had many passions throughout his lifetime, including baseball, music, surfing, and sailing. Most recently, he was most passionate about drumming, his weekly lessons, daily practice, and the friends he made in the process. Clark treasured the many friends he met during his lifetime, and he spoke about them often.

He leaves behind a sister, Allyson Sheffield, and a brother, Carter Hull, and many nieces and nephews; as well as his ex-wife, Karen Martin, with whom he maintained a special friendship.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Harper, his mother Martha Dean Ramsey Hull, and his father Lawrence Hull. In lieu of a funeral service, Clark's wish was to have his friends come together for a celebration of his life, the details of which will be announced at a later date.
