Clark Benjamin Turner (Junior) passed away on September 23, 2023 in the Community Hospice Bailey Family Center in St Augustine, FL. Clark was born on July 29, 1938 in Bridgeton NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Turner and Clark Turner Sr, sister, Sara Caine, brother Anthony Turner, and his adoring wife of 56 years, Nancy Turner.
Clark grew up in Bridgeton NJ where he was named class treasurer and was an outstanding trumpet player in High School. Following High School, Clark joined the Air Force and was a jet mechanic stationed in Plattsburgh, NY. While serving in the Air Force, he met the love of his life, Nancy, who lived in Millville NJ at the time. After an honorable discharge, Clark and Nancy returned back to New Jersey where they raised their two children.
Clark is survived by his son; Brian Turner and his wife Caroline, daughter; Lisa Barbetti and her husband Ron, grandsons; Luke Turner, Anthony Turner, Dylan Barbetti (wife Haley), granddaughters; Stephanie Knox (husband Stephan) and Bianca Jenkins (husband Eric). Clark is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many adoring cousins, nieces, nephews and friends of all ages.
Clark and Nancy moved to St Augustine 6 years ago. Clark was always admired for his strength, wisdom and passion towards his wife, family, friends and many beloved animals. He led a life of selflessness and never thought twice about helping those in need. Clark was also a "jack of all trades" fixing anything that needed repair. Clark was also very funny and loved a good joke. His famous sayings were "my name is Clark just like "Superman" and "yabba dabba doo". Clark will never be forgotten as he has spread so much love and memories and knowledge to others. He also instilled a "never give up attitude". He will forever be an Angel and hero to so many people. Thank you Clark B. Turner for making this world a better place. Rest in peace with your beautiful and adoring wife.
Private interment will be held at San Lorenzo Cemetery.
