Claudette M. Teeple, 84, of Gibsonburg, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born June 5, 1939 in Toledo, the daughter of Dale and Melba (Landis) Vallance.
She was a 1958 graduate of Gibsonburg High School.
Claudette enjoyed cooking, word searches, soap operas and walking her dog with her best friend Lois Anderson.
Surviving are her children Ronnie Teeple (Deborah Payne) of Risingsun, OH; Chuck Teeple (Cassie DeJonge) of Elmore, OH; Donna (John)Flynn, Randy Teeple, Larry (Heather Perras) Teeple all of Gibsonburg, OH: grandchildren and their children Charles II (Caitlyn)Teeple, Terrence, Solana, Charles III, Aiden, Braxton, Cheyenne, Bentley, Wendy, Damon, Deasia; Emilia; Tony (Kristen) Teeple, Melanie; Brandon (Amber) Maby, Brandon Jr., Hannah, Melissa, Legend, Apollo, Ryleigh; Skylee (Julian) Teeple, Kinsley, Mike, Austin, Payton, Tiff, Hunter, Landynn, Miya, Bentley, Aaliayah; Haley Ickes, Randy, Dylan, and Leon; sisters Mary Smith of Gibsonburg and Pat Sworden of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester, and son Dale.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:30-6:30 P.M. at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH. Funeral services will begin at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. There will be a luncheon to celebrate her life on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Gibsonburg American Legion, 300 S. Main St., at 5:00 P.M. You may bring food after 3 P.M. someone will be there to accept it.
