My sweet friend. When I initially saw the photo connected with Claudia's obituary and thought, "Whi is that?" But then I looks closer and that the Claudia I knew and loved in her glorious smile. Then I realized the years of dealing with the sorrows and pain of suffering the unimaginable, had taken their toll on the body but not the spirit. I came to know Claudia from the Seekers class at Southeast Christian. After sharing together we knew we were kindred spirits. She came to our home for meals often and before my husband's death we shared in brilliant home meals at her place, as well. Oh, how blessed you were if you got to sample her cooking! Later, after Covid restrictions were lifted, our bonds grew and she joined with me at Saved By Grace class and a small neighbood Bible study where the members hung on every word she would share from scripture. My! How she loved those grand children! And all of us were so grateful that her dying wish was granted when she was roused from death's grip to greet baby girl, Georgia, before going on to her eternal life with the One she loved most of all, Jesus. Claudia was generous with her love and I am blessed to have been on the receiving end. It won't be long now before we will join with her in the realm beyond this, where eyes have not seen, nor ears heard all that has been prepared.

All of us who exercised in Shirley's aqua classes at MTM pool will miss Claudia's pleasant presence. We knew she struggled with constant arthritic pain but she seldom let the pain show. Her endurance thru a number of great physical challenges inspires us to work thru the pain and to be good locker room buddies to All like she was. May she rest in peace.
