Claudia was born on October 8, 1953, in Muncie and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1972.
Claudia is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Ford, her mother Norma Jean Morris and stepmother Rachel Ford. Claudia is survived by her husband Stephen P. Erwin, brother Kent Ford (Marianne), brother Kevin Ford (Beth), and brother Kirk Ford along with son Jason Burns (Guadalupe), son Brandon Burns, daughter Kayla Hart, stepdaughter Nicole Bailey (Brian), and stepson Anthony Erwin (Stephanie), thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel in Muncie Indiana. Calling hours will be at 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. and followed by memorial service.
