Con profundo amor y tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Claudiano Coca Ballesteros, quien partió el 3 de agosto de 2025 a los 69 años. Nació en Guayaquil, Ecuador, y pasó los últimos años de su vida en Schiller Park, Illinois, tras vivir por mucho tiempo en Chicago.
Claudiano fue esposo devoto de Araceli Delgado Guadarrama durante 29 años. Padre orgulloso de Patricia, John, Marjorie, Christian, Johanna y un hijo más, fue también abuelo amoroso de 18 nietos y bisabuelo de 2. Hermano de Marco (Janet) Coka, Geovanni (Alejandra) Velazco, Ivar Velazco y la fallecida Elizabeth Velazco. Hijo de Marcia (+) y Luis Alfonso Coka, y querido tío de muchos sobrinos y sobrinas, además de amigo fiel para tantos.
Trabajó por 15 años como Gate Porter en la empresa Gate Gourmet, donde se ganó el aprecio de sus compañeros gracias a su alegría, su actitud bromista y su habilidad para hacer amistades con facilidad. Claudiano era fanático del fútbol, amante de los “selfies”, el baile y el canto, y no perdía oportunidad para hacer reír a quienes lo rodeaban.
Su presencia llenaba cualquier espacio de vida y cariño. Amaba profundamente a su familia y jamás perdía una oportunidad para demostrarlo. Incluso se despidió con dolor de su gata adorada, Sassy, a quien dejó en Ecuador este marzo pasado.
El recuerdo de su energía contagiosa, su corazón generoso y su espíritu alegre vivirá para siempre en todos los que lo amaron.
Los arreglos funerarios están encomendados a Chicagoland Cremation Options de Schiller Park, IL.
