Clayburn Crummett, 87, a retired Swoope farmer, died Saturday, October 27, 1990 at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born September 5, 1903 at Head Waters, a son of William Lewis and Martha Jane (Armstrong) Crummett.
He was the oldest member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, Churchville.
On May 23, 1938 he married Mary Daughtrey who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William Vance and Zane Leroy Crummett, both of Swoope; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Head Waters Cemetery by the Rev. Raymond W. Petit.
The family will receive friends at the residence at anytime.
