Clayburn Eugene “Gene” Mullinax, born July 30, 1937, age 87, of Cumming, GA passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Lucille Mullinax; brothers, Billy Mullinax, Lamar Mullinax, Douglas Mullinax; and sister Linda Poole. 

Gene was a Native of Forsyth County, Midway Community, and lived in Cumming. Baptist Faith, U.S. Army Veteran, he was employed for 37 years at Lockheed Martin helping to build the C-130, later the Stealth Bomber, F-22 Raptor, and Space Shuttle Challenger. He always had to be working. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Sara Mullinax of Cumming; sons Todd (Tracie) Mullinax, Tim Mullinax, and daughter Danyelle Mullinax; sister Brenda Mullinax. 

Burial at Sawnee View Gardens.
