Clemente Diaz Alvarado, a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on July 23, 1943, in Mexico, Clemente's spirit was imbued with warmth and vitality that he carried with him throughout his life.
Clemente was known for his many passions; he adored music, often bringing joy to those around him with his lively spirit and love for having a good time. An avid gardener, he found solace in tending to his yard, where he could connect with nature and enjoy a peaceful moment under the sun.
He went to heaven to join his loving wife, Amelia Alvarado, his father, Santiago Alvarado, and his mother. They instilled in him the values of hard work and community, traits that he carried lifelong and shared with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Clemente leaves behind a loving family that includes his brothers, Juan, Angel, and Goyo Alvarado; his son, Santiago Alvarado (Vanessa); and his cherished grandchildren, Jimmy, Michael, and Brody Alvarado. Each of them holds dear the memories they created together, reflecting a legacy of love and connectedness.
The family will hold visitation services on August 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South, located at 3520 South Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78204. A prayer service will follow that evening, commencing at 6:30 PM.
