Ramon “Ray” Solis Guzman Jr., beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather departed this world on October 6, 2025.

Ramon S. Guzman Jr. is proceeded in death by his wife Amalia (Molly) Guzman, mother Patricia Guzman, and his brother Roy Guzman. He is survived by his brothers Rudy Guzman (Hope) and Robert Guzman (Jackie) his sisters, Rachel Rodriguez and Rose Luna (Joe Luna) his sons Richard Guzman (Iris Guzman) and David Guzman (Ariel Cummins), daughters, Mary Guzman, Elva Flores (Guadalupe Flores Jr.), and Patricia Nelson. His grandchildren, Greg Guzman (Karina Guzman), Leticia Tanner (Jesse Tanner),  Pete Cardona (Jocelyn Cardona), Brian Nelson (Anahi Nelson) and his great grandchildren.

Born June 2, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas. Our dad was a veteran in the Army and National Guard. He was stationed in El Paso, Texas where he met our mother, Maria Elena.  After his stint in the Army, they moved to San Antonio to start a family. He was a devoted father, who made sure we all had a good education and had strong work ethics. He always valued his jobs and never missed work. He was an expert auto mechanic and loved to work on cars ( there wasn’t a car he couldn’t fix). When we had vehicles, we never had to go to a shop to get our cars fixed. Our dad was “old school “ when it came to family values and we loved him for it. You do not find many men like our dad anymore.
