Obituary
Clemente Joseph Gutierrez left to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023. He was 28 years old,
born in Palm Springs, CA on March 15, 1994 to Victoria Melendrez. His Steppy Mike Melendrez
came into his life when he was only 5 years old. He was a beloved Son, brother and friend. He
would light up a room the second he walked in. He had a genuine heart of gold. He was smart,
talented and enjoyed creating music as his Hobby. He was silly and loved to dance. He was his
mama's Wild Child, but he was also the one that you could not stay mad at, no matter what he
did wrong. His plan was to go back to the Oil Fields, but God had other plans. He has left so
many hearts shattered with his sudden passing, but let us all have comfort in knowing that he is
in a better place with God. Dancing in the Sky with family members that have greeted him at the
Gates of Heaven. He is survived by his mother Victoria Melendrez and Steppy Mike Melendrez
of Dona Ana. His older brother Daniel Gutierrez- Trejo (Efrain) of Palm Springs, C.A. His sister
Joiree Diaz and his grandfather Clemente Hernandez of Las Cruces, NM. He also had many
uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Godfather, Robert Canzanese, and
his grandmothers, Mary Hernandez and Nelda Melendrez.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Gutierrez-Trejo, Mike Martinez, Danny Melendrez, Angel Mata, Miguel
Martinez and Santiago Melendrez
Funeral services will be at La Paz Grahams at 555 W. Amador LC, NM on January 23, 2023.
Public Viewing will be from 10am to 11am. Prayer Service will be from 11am to Noon.
Burial service will follow at Dona Ana Cemetery.
