Cleora Ruth Albring

Cleora Ruth (Carrier) Albring passed away November 1, 2024 at the age of 71. She loved collecting angel figurines and embroidering gifts for her family and friends. She loved to go fishing with her son Jerry and also enjoyed long walks together. She was especially close with her sister Ella, who she would stay with when she came to visit. They also enjoyed long talks over the phone and loved to reminisce about their childhood in Benzie County with their parents Sonny and Daisy Carrier.
Cleora loved mushroom hunting with her brother Neal and holidays with her brothers Burt and Gary. She loved joking with her nieces and nephews and always welcomed a good laugh.
Cleora is survived by son Gerald "Jerry" Nowolowsky, brother Burt (Paula) Carrier, sisters Freda Bench, Lela (George) Hirschfelt, Ella (Howard "Tom") Rehil, Sisters in law Dixie Carrier, Debra Carrier, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Cleora's life will be held at the Homestead Township Cemetery on November 22nd at 11:00 AM and a luncheon will follow at Mill's Community House in Benzonia. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home of Benzonia.
