Cleora “Cleo” Jean Anderson was born June 29, 1923, in Dazey, ND, to Peter and Lucile (Stanley) Frahm. Cleo was raised in Wimbledon, ND, where she graduated from high school as the class valedictorian.
She attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND, and worked for a year at Standard Oil in Fargo. Cleo was united in marriage to Myrle Anderson on June 12, 1948, in Fargo. Cleo was proud to be a homemaker and mother, and she helped support her husband as he owned and operated Anderson Pontiac in Moorhead.
Following Myrle’s death on November 17, 1988, Cleo continued to make her home in Fargo but wintered in California as well as Arizona.
Cleo died Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in Sanford Hospice House, Fargo, at one hundred years of age.
She is survived by her sons, David (Linda), Paul (Kathryn), and Tom (Gyda) Anderson, all of Moorhead, MN; eight grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Lisa Anderson Karlstad, Thomas Seth Anderson, Gabriel Anderson, Neil Anderson, Kara Bauer, Daniel Rowell, and Alison Rowell; many great-grandchildren; and several great-greatgrandchildren. Cleo is also survived by, and was very close to, many of her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Myrle, Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Carole Bauer and Peggy Anderson; and two brothers, Stanley and James Frahm.

Visitation for Cleo will begin at 10 AM, followed by a Life Celebration service at 11 AM, Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Grace United Methodist Church, Moorhead. Her final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
