Cletus Dubs Obituary

He lived all of his life in the Hanover/Spring Grove/Dover area. He retired from Oldcastle Stone Products (Thomasville Stone and Lime Co.) in 2003 as a heavy equipment operator. He attended Spring Grove Area High School.
Clete always looked forward to going to the family picnic each year and time with the family over the holidays. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and traveling. Especially trips to Myrtle Beach, SC, Gatlinburg, TN, and Branson, MO.
Clete is survived by his best friend and companion of 38 years, Nancy Fuller of Dover. Two sons, Tony Dubs and wife Christine of Spring Grove, and Brian Dubs of the Philippines. Three grandchildren, Zachariah Dubs, Siona Waugh, Shantel Dubs and their families. Also survived by a sister Shirley Altland and a brother Gerald Dubs, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his furry companion Buddy. He was predeceased by brother Floyd Dubs and sister Dorothy Lecrone.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Clete's life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Jean Ward, Pastor of Betlehem United Methodist Church in Jefferson, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:00AM – 10:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America. P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901, or online.
