On Tuesday March 4, 2025, Edna Catherine Dubs passed away at her daughters home in Westminster, MD. She was born in her parent’s home in Hanover, PA on Saturday November 23, 1940. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Edward Dubs Sr. who passed away in 2023. She was 1 of 17 children.

In her early career life, Edna worked for Black and Decker for years. After they closed, she was a Caregiver in her home for developmentally disabled adults for 30 years. She enjoyed taking camping trips and travelling to Tom’s Cove. A few other trips include cruises to the Panama Canal, Bahamas, Alaska and a family trip to the Grand Canyon. Edna was a good cook and loved to cook for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Rose Marie Lockard and husband Jessie of Westminster, MD; Bobbie Sue Barnhart and husband Brian of McSherrystown, PA and Sandra Lyn Sumey and her husband Allen of Largo, FL; brother, Clyde Flicknger of York, PA; grandchildren, Lee Lockard, Shawn Lockard, Joshua Dubs, Nathan Dubs, Kayla E. Simpson and husband Ryan, Justin A. Sumey; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Paisley, Raelynn, Adalynn, Wyatt, and Emersyn. She is predeceased by her son Ralph Edward Dubs, Jr.

Family will receive friends at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 1pm for a Memorial Service. Online condolences may be made to www.myersdurborawfh.com
