Cleve H. Beck

Cleve Hancock Beck, 64, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at his home in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Cleve was born May 13, 1961 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Delpha Stoddard and Don Hancock Beck.

Cleve grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. He continued his education at DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona and then the College of Technology at Idaho State University.

As a young man, Cleve was married and was blessed with his cherished daughter, Whitnee.

After college he worked for the University of Utah in fiber optics and communications. Then later worked for Micron in Salt Lake City, Utah as an engineer designing computer rooms. He loved to travel and had the opportunity to a lot with this job.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid reader and passionate about history. He was also a huge sports fan and loved to attend games. One of his greatest joys was following his daughter, nieces, nephews and grandchildren in all their athletic achievements.

Cleve is survived by his daughter, Whitnee (Nick) Brower of Riverside; his father, Don Beck of Blackfoot; his siblings, Don Jr. (Michelle) Beck of Lewiston ID, Dee (Candy) Beck, Wesley Hancock (Suzette) Beck, Vickie Hancock Beck, all of Blackfoot, and Cindy Hancock (Kip) Motta of Fish Haven ID; grandchildren, Sawyer Brower and Boston Brower and step-grandchildren, Tye Zoellner, Brody Zoellner and Rylee Zoellner; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delpha Beck; stepson Christopher Zoellner; brother Michael Beck; and a nephew Andrew Beck.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am.
