Vandenberg Funeral Home - Tinley ParkClifford J. Alsager, age 82, late of Orland Park, IL and formerly of Olympia Fields, IL, passed away August 30, 2025. U.S. Army Veteran. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Longtime parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Orland Park, IL. Clifford worked in the financial industry his whole life. Most recently as a Financial Consultant at Morgan Stanley for several years. He was a member of the Chicago Heights Rotary Club. Avid fan of the Chicago Cubs. He loved all animals, especially his dogs Charlie and Maggie. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Beloved husband of Sharon Alsager (nee Kollada). Loving father of Chris and Stacy. Cherished grandfather of Ana and Ali. Caring brother of Ken and the late Dan Alsager. Kind uncle of Matt Kollada, Mike Kollada, Dan (Amanda) Alsager, and David Alsager. Kind great uncle of Lydia, Sophia, Nate, Luke, Mark, James, Seth, Paul, Peter, and Dan. Caring brother-in-law of Ed Kollada. Dear son of the late Thomas and Mary Alsager. Wonderful Friend of many.
Memorial Visitation, Monday, September 29, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Assisi Church, 15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467. Interment will be Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to PAWS in Tinley Park, IL. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Discovery Commons Orland Park (formerly Heartis Village) and 3 Oaks Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and loving care of their beloved Clifford.
