Clifford Bell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberson Funeral Home - Bethany on Dec. 11, 2025.
Clifford "Cliff" Allen Bell, born February 27, 1955, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. Clifford grew up on the family farm, where he developed a lifelong love for cattle and all things farming.

Cliff had a gentle, childlike spirit and viewed the world with a sweetness and innocence that touched every person he met. He found joy in simple routines, familiar faces, and the small moments that made each day special. His laughter, kindness, and pure-hearted nature brought light to his family and to all who cared for him.

For many years, Cliff was employed by the Sheltered Workshop in Bethany. Cliff spent most of his adult life in a group home in Bethany and became a well known person in the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Donna (Reid) Bell; his brother, John Bell; an infant brother, Howard Joseph; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hockensmith.

He is survived by his sisters, Anita Bell, Catherine Bell, Mary Alice Bell (Kevin Watkins), Janet Hillman (Larry Hillman), and Carolyn Bell-Fox (Sean Fox); his sister-in-law, Lynn Bell; two nieces; four nephews; three great nieces; a great nephew; and his many friends at the workshop and in the community. His family will forever cherish his sweet smile and infectious laugh, his gentle ways, and the countless memories that will always keep him close to their hearts. Cliff was a blessing to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
