Clifford Allen Carr of Brockway, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1942 the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt & Nellie (Wells) Carr.

On June 19, 1965 he married the love of his life, Ruth A. (Smith) Carr. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Cliff was a hardworking man who retired multiple times throughout his life. He worked at Brockway Glass in Production Planning, & Scheduling for 28 years, Domtar for 14 years, and lastly worked for the Brockway Area School District for 3 years.

Cliff was a member of the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church in Falls Creek, PA. He served the church in many capacities including: Elder, Deacon, Trustee, Superintendent of Sunday School, Mission, and was a longtime member of the church choir. He was a 30 year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. His love for Barbershop Music began while he was still in High School.

Cliff enjoyed bowling, hunting, playing cards, & loved his favorite dessert, donuts. Nearly every Friday night the family card games were accompanied by having Scottie's Donuts.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Smith) Carr, his 4 children: Lori (Ray)Serafini, Lisa Gilebarto, Ken (Suizi) Carr, & Sam (Faith) Carr; his grandchildren: Ray (Kelly) Serafini III, Noah (Hayley) Serafini, Andrew (Danielle) Serafini, Bret & Corey Carr, and Andrea, Stephen, & Zachary Gilebarto; & great children: Lyla Carr, Tate Serafini, and another 1 on the way.
He is also survived by 2 brothers; Tom Carr and Blaine Carr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Carr, and his loving father-in-law & mother-in-law: Edward & Marjorie (Crawford) Smith.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2 -4 PM & 6 -8 PM at the the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway, Pa; and again on Monday, August 25 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastors Dave and Emily Koehler officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church 14 Beechwood Rd. Falls Creek, PA 15840 or Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice 100 Hospital Ave DuBois, PA 15801.
