Clifford Deaner Obituary
CLIFFORD MOORE DEANER, age 76, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away June 10, 2024, at Peyton HospiceHouse. Dick was born in Saint Albans, WV to the late C. M. and Lillian (née Coalter) Deaner.
Dick is survived by loving wife, Jan; sisters, Mary Margaret Deaner of Conneaut Lake, PA and Brooke Gunnoe of Clover, SC; sisters in law, Joyce Musone (Jim) of Coraopolis, PA and Jeanne Link (Barry) of Palm Coast, FL; faithful companion, Journey; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Throughout his life Dick gave of himself to help others. He continued this legacy through his final donation to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Memorial donations may be directed to HospiceCare, 1265 Maplewood, Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Served with Clifford in Bravo Co 2/27 Wolfhounds in 1969. We were classmates in OCS at Fort Benning. He was a very brave platoon leader. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Jan, Mary Margaret, and and Brookie, I was so sad to hear of Dickies sickness and death. He was an older and much loved cousin. Always hanging with my brothers while I was with Brookie. I know he was so good to my dad. Always coming to see him. I really think it tickled him. I will miss our Christmas get to gathers. He will be missed. Love, Dawn and Jay Templeton.
