Clifford Fredrick Maulden, a beloved member of the community and a dedicated family man, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Born on July 20, 1932, in Bullitt County, Kentucky, Clifford touched many lives with his warmth and genuine spirit.
A retired foreman at Solite, Clifford was known for his strong work ethic.
Clifford's personality charmed all who knew him. He had a profound love for his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. He delighted in watching hummingbirds fly about and found solace in the great outdoors, often embracing the serenity found while fishing. These pursuits brought him immense joy and were a reflection of his appreciation for the simpler things in life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce G. Maulden, and their children: Anthony "Tony" Maulden and his wife Angie of Elizabethtown, KY; Mary Maulden of Lebanon Junction; Cherryl Sims and her husband Mike of Boston, Kentucky; Becky Fischer of Campbellsville; and Christopher Maulden and his wife April of Boston, Kentucky along with his 14 Grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Clifford’s legacy lives on through the love and memories shared with each of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, McClellen Maulden and Mary Fern Mahoney Maulden, and his siblings, Donald Hilton, Violet Long, and Charles Hilton. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those left behind.
Visitation will be held at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 South Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday April 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Tina Lord. Following the service burial will take place at Vine Hill Cemetery in Clermont, Kentucky..
