Clifford Watson Sprouse, 73, of Campobello, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence.
Clifford was born in Cowpens, South Carolina, the son of the late Watson Herbert Sprouse and the late Janie Pearl Lane Crocker. He was also predeceased by his brother: Roger Sprouse.
Clifford was a veteran in the United States Air Force and served his country with honor. He earned his rank as a sergeant on June 1, 1973. He later became employed and retired with Spartanburg Steel Products as a maintenance technician. He enjoyed spending time with his family and found comfort in being alone at his home. His family will miss him profoundly.
Left to cherish Clifford’s memories are his sister: Janice Elaine Cheek-Daniels; his nephew: Jeremy Sprouse; and his great nephews and nieces: Kaeden, Starla, Rayne, and Saphira Sprouse.
The family will receive friends between 12:00 – 12:45 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Floyd Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The funeral service to honor Clifford’s life will start at 1:00 PM following the visitation with full military honors presented by the Honor Guard Team from Post 48 in Chesnee, SC. The burial will be private in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The arrangements are entrusted into the care of Floyd Greenlawn Chapel.
