Clifton Richard Bush, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Medical Center at Scottsville, KY The Austin Tracy, KY native was a retired teacher and assistant Principal at Allen County Scottsville High where he taught physics and math. He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church and Allen County Scottsville Retired Teacher's Association. He was the son of the late George Walter Bush, Jr. and Vera Blanche Hogue Bush Smalling and husband of the late Darthy Mae Dillaha Bush.
He is survived by 1 son: Dr. Wayne Bush and friend, Vickie Odil, Bowling Green, KY;
1 daughter: Maria Anderson and husband, Frank, Oklahoma City, OK;
4 grandchildren: Rachel Santos (Larissa), Brooke Bush, Clayton Bush, Matthew Knight (Alex).
He was preceded in death by a sister: Laverne Pendleton-Carter.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Rogers officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. until funeral time Sunday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
