Clifton Kirby Taylor, 41, died Monday, August 18, 2025, at Jackson Hospital. He was born March 26, 1984, to the late Kirby and Dawn Taylor.
Beyond his love for his family and the Sunland community, Cliff found great enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. Music, television and his iPad brought him immense entertainment. The staff at Sunland became an integral part of Cliff's life, cherishing his presence and learning from his unwavering spirit. He taught them the importance of patience, empathy, and unconditional love through his interactions with everyone he met. Cliff held a special place in his heart for his parents, and his sister, Katy. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
He is survived by his sister, Katy Taylor; brother-in-law, Dom Ivener; aunt and uncle, Lani and Bill Bond; uncle, Richard Awalt; friends, Jasmine Braddock, Matt Bubien, Rusty Arnette; and residents and employees of Sunland.
Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
