Dear Betty, I am so sorry for your loss, Della had called me when he became sick, Vic also said he had been up to see him. I had hoped that things would turn out differently, but God needed him home it seems. He was a great guy. My thoughts are with you and the children. Remember all the good times and that you had a number of happy years with Kippy. When I get back this fall I will try to give you a call, maybe we can have a coffee. Take care of yourself.

Dear Betty, Lorette and I were shocked to read of Kip's passing. We never knew he was ill. I am sure it was just this past summer we visited a few times at the store. When ever we talked it was almost always of you. He loved you so very much. We will be back home soon and hope to see you this summer.
Our love to you.

To Kippy's family, Charlie and I were sad to hear about Kippy. We both went to High School in Winterport with him during the early sixties. He was always a good basketball player and friend. We were very pleased to read about his big family. We only have a grandson, 6 mos old; so we can just imagine what a wonderful life he had with all the children in his life. Best Wishes always, Jane & Charlie

I worked with Kip when the Mammoth Mart opened back in 1971. He was the nicest boss anyone could have asked for and I have wondered the past few years where he was and what he was doing now. I am so sorry to read of his passing in the newspaper today. He was a wonderful man that will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Dawnitta

Dear Betty,
Gene talked to you the other morning by phone but I wanted to also give you my condolence. I'm so glad that you have such a wonderful family to comfort you at this time.
Life sometimes seems so unfair and hard to understand but the only one that doesn't make a mistake is GOD.
Hold fast to that thought.
Love Estelle.

This sad news finds me remembering several "events" from our school days when we'd arrive to pick up Scott and be greeted by Mr. Watson, always with a smile and telling us to be good. He was a great person who always made people feel good. I hope you all are doing ok and are finding comfort in that he is not suffering anymore. My thoughts are especially with Chub (Scott) and Mrs. Watson and hoping that you both are doing ok. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you now.
All my love,
Mary (Jordan) Carter
