Clinton Joseph Mullins, age 86, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

He was born August 13, 1938 to the late William Edward and Beulah (Reynolds) Mullins in Eubank, Kentucky. Clinton grew up in Eubank where he spent his days working the land as a proud farmer. His love for farming was surpassed only by his love for his family and his passion for cheering on the UK Wildcats. A veteran of the Army, Clinton served his country with honor and distinction, bringing the same values of dedication and integrity to his life and work in civilian years. Clinton was known for his warm and welcoming nature, always eager to spend time with friends and family. His presence brought joy and comfort to all who were fortunate to know him. He was also a member and deacon of Sunrise Baptist Church.

He is survived by his two children, Russell & (Lora) Mullins and Michelle & (Marc) Weitlauf; five grandchildren, Jaxon Weitlauf, Bella Weitlauf, John Paul Weitlauf, Helena Weitlauf, and Lucas Mullins; and three siblings, Verla Wilson, Laverne New, and Reba Gentry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Harold Mullins, Lucian Mullins, and Delano Mullins.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Ping and Bro. John Lear officiating.

Burial will follow in Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until time for services at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
