Cloma Field of Springlake-Earth, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 7, 1949, in Aspermont, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Dollie Mae Chancellor and Carl “Jack” Freeman, who both preceded her in death.
Cloma married Arden Field on February 14, 2004. They shared many years of deep companionship and family. Together, they built a blended family full of love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Cloma graduated from Aspermont, TX in 1968 and still kept in touch with many of her classmates. For many years, Cloma worked as a licensed hairdresser, using her talents not only to help others feel beautiful, but also to offer kindness, conversation, and compassion to everyone who sat in her chair. She built lasting relationships through her work and was deeply trusted and loved by her clients and community. Some of her fondest memories were Christmas break, Spring break, and summer break spent with grandchildren fishing, swimming, bowling, and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Mahannah and husband Clint; her grandchildren: Daylen, Randon, Keslyn, Easton, Gavin, Kinsley, and Kenny; her daughter, Tish Murrell and husband Terry; her grandchildren: Taylor Murrell (wife Jacy), Tevyn Murrell (wife Breauna), and Jacy Murrell (husband Bayle); her son, Togo Hallford and wife Trista; her grandchildren: Tanner Hallford (wife Landri) and Trace Hallford (wife Lexie); her stepchildren and grandchildren; her stepdaughter, Lindsey Kennelly and husband Matt; her grandchild: Jeremie Moreno (husband Daniel); her stepdaughter, Michael Cotherman and husband Mark; her grandsons, Brannon and Jeremy; her stepdaughter, Jeri Kate Hart and husband Marlon; her granddaughter: McCaleb; her stepdaughter, Tami Herriage and husband James; her granddaughters, Samantha and Braylee; her stepson, AJ Field and wife Casey; her grandchildren: Audrey, Kyeler, Mason, and Shirley Ann; her stepdaughter, Kimberley Sanchez and grandson: Morgan. Cloma was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren, and one more on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
A visitation on Tuesday, June 10th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
