Cloyd Clarence Conley III died July 16th, 2025, in Greeley.

Cloyd was born November 3rd, 1967, at the Fort Ord Army Base, Monterey, California to Judith Marie (Fawver) Conley and Cloyd Clarence Conley Jr. His family moved back to Colorado and settled in Platteville in 1968. The family later moved to Greeley where Cloyd attended Arlington Elementary School, Chappelow Middle School, and John Evans Jr. High School. He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1986.

Cloyd's dream was to join the military. He joined the U.S. Army for a short time immediately after high school, receiving an Honorable Discharge. Cloyd then went to work for Donson's Food Distribution (now Performance Food Group) where he worked as a warehouseman, retiring as a dry foods warehouse manager, after 33 years.

During his life, Cloyd enjoyed fishing and even got the chance to travel to Saskatchewan, Canada on several fishing trips. With his friends, Cloyd built the cars and competed in several demolition derbies at the Greeley Independence Stampede and Adams County Fair. Cloyd enjoyed rockets, his favorite being SpaceX, and never missed the chance to watch live online every testing and launch. He loved spending time with his family, rarely missing the opportunity to celebrate any birthday, holiday, or special occasion. Cloyd was an avid music fan.

Cloyd is survived by his father Cloyd Clarence Conley Jr., sister Relyn Soliday, brother-in-law Steven Soliday, nephew Benjamin Soliday, niece Miranda (Nicolas) Bates, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cloyd was preceded in death by his mother Judy in 2007.
