Cloyd Myers Obituary

Cloyd was born to the late George Witten and Goldie (Keys) Myers in Maynardville, Tennessee. As a young man, Cloyd started working as a Tool Grinder for the Haynes Stellite company in Kokomo, Indiana before entering the US Army where he spent the majority of his time serving in Germany during the American Occupation. After service he returned to the Haynes company and enjoyed working there until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked to watch a good NASCAR race and he cheered for the Indianapolis Colts and became a Tennessee Vol fan too!
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nancy (Yocom) Myers, his granddaughter, Amanda Myers and brothers, Bill E. Myers and Jackie E. Myers.
He is survived by his son and daughter in-law, Cloyd A. Myers, Jr. and Robin of Loudon, TN; grandchildren, Alisha Evans of Kokomo, IN and Tanner A. Myers of Loudon, TN; great grandchildren, Austyn, Makenzye, Fayth, Tyler, Kayla, Kaleb and Khloe; great-great grandchildren, Amelia, Allison, Mya and Walker.
Services honoring and remembering Mr. Myers will be held Friday, July 07, 2023 at Ellers Community Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, IN. Interment will be held Saturday, July 8th, 2023 in the Albright Cemetery, 3910 Albright Rd. Kokomo with military honors.
