In the heart of Midlothian, Texas, a community lost a bright presence as Clyde Terry Bryant passed away on December 1, 2025. Born to Carl T. and Carletta Bryant on August 29, 1943, in Waxahachie, Texas. Clyde was a funny, dedicated, humble, and reliable soul who devoted his life to his family and the service of others. His infectious laughter and kind-hearted spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Clyde was a man of many talents and passions. He was an Honorary All-American in high school football and was awarded Honorable Mention All Star. His love for the game was only surpassed by his love for family and community. Clyde worked as a spot welder at General Motors for 34 years. He was a man of the outdoors, sharing captivating stories of his youthful adventures riding horses and camping with childhood friends, and showcasing his dedication to farming through his passion for showing Hereford Heifers. Clyde devoted countless hours to his children's FFA projects and became known around town as "The Best Feeder in Ellis County".

Clyde leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Bryant and his children, Tracey Florez and husband Chris Florez, Adam Bryant, and Dale Bryant. His love multiplied with the arrival of his beloved grandchildren, Seven Bryant, Jaxson Florez, Alexis Florez, and Knox Florez. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Cox, and brother-in-law, Paul Cox, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Carl T. and Carletta Bryant, and his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and James Barksdale.
