Clyde Leland Hittle, 83, of Marysville, Kansas, passed away on November 11, 2025, at Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville. He was born on September 25, 1942, in Sabetha, Kansas, the son of George R. and Nora Bell (Greenlee) Hittle.
Clyde spent the first eight years of his life in Goff, Kansas, before the untimely death of his father. The family then relocated to Vermillion, Kansas, where he was raised.
Throughout his life, Clyde worked for area farmers, Koch and Company, and Walmart. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and playing dominoes and checkers—games he was known for winning. His greatest joy came from visits with his great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chester Hittle; and a sister, Helen Hittle.
Survivors include his four children: George Lewis of Great Bend, KS; Darlene (James) Wadsworth of Great Bend, KS; James Williams of Oklahoma; and Sally Jo (Roger) Hulsing of Seneca, KS; five grandchildren: Tessa (Steve) Steele of St. Marys, PA, Tiffany (Tanner) Andersen of Wamego, KS, Tabitha (Tom) Cramer of Marysville, KS, Darrin (Shantell) Blocker of Bern, KS, and Danielle Blocker of Seneca, KS; three step-granddaughters: Shelby Hulsing of Sabetha, KS, Brie Hulsing (Brett Hendrickson) of Ponca City, OK, and Kymra (Austin) Frye of Seneca, KS; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Hazel (Melvin) Broughman of New Bern, NC, and Hilda D’Amico of New Bern, NC; and one brother, Claude Hittle of Marysville.
Memorial contributions will help with Clyde’s funeral expenses. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, P.O. Box 147, Marysville, Kansas 66508.
