Clyde Samuel McHone

Clyde "Sam" McHone, age 78, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 26th, 2025. He was born on February 12th, 1947, in Madison County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Clyde McHone and Linda Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis McHone. He is survived by his sons, Richard McHone; Justin McHone (wife Devyn); and his daughter, Samantha McHone-Caudill (husband Dennis): 10 grandchildren, (Richard's) Ricky, Brittany, Brandon, Tyler; (Justin's) Alex, Sam, Ellie, Sydney; (Samantha's) Phyllis and Dennis. Along with 3 great grandchildren.
He loved Jesus with his whole heart, and his faith guided every part of his life. Blessed with many talents, he took on a variety of careers and became skilled in each, never afraid of hard work or new challenges.
Funeral services for Mr. McHone will be 1:00PM Friday, January 2nd at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road with Pastor Carl Kelleher officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be 12:00PM till the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
