With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved brother, Cody Lee Conolly, 43, of Swannanoa, NC. Cody was born on March 5, 1981 and entered into rest on March 2, 2025, where he now rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
As a son, brother, father, friend, and, most importantly, a believer in God’s saving grace, Cody was beloved to all who truly knew him. He loved to laugh and joke around. Cody believed in people and always saw the best in them, believed the best of them; always.
Cody was a simple man and treasured his people. Even though life wasn’t always kind to him, he chose to remain kind. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was gentle, compassionate, encouraging to everyone he met. He will be truly missed, always, by all of us who knew him well.
Cody is survived by his children, Bryson Connolly and Kaleigh Holcombe; father and step-mother, Richard and Linda Connolly; sister, Casie Redden (Kyle); nephews, Tristin (Olivia), Jordan (Karly), Gabrial (Jasmine) Cameron (Tori) and Abel; niece, Taylor (Jimmy); great-nephews, Liam, Landyn, and Kohen and his special friend and brother, Ricky Ray.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 3:00pm – 5:30pm at Inanda Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 590 Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC 28806. Please come and share stories and pictures about who Cody was to you.
