Cody Elliott Gilbert

Cody Elliott Gilbert, of Oklahoma City, entered this life on October 15, 1985 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and entered life eternal on December 5, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years.
He grew up in Garvin County in the Elmore City and Pauls Valley area. He graduated from Elmore City High School. He furthered his education by earning his Law Degree. The Oklahoma City area has been his home since 2004.
Cody was married to Lindsey Gilbert (Workman) Gilbert in Oklahoma City in 2015.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lavena Buckner.
Cody is survived by his wife, Lindsey Gilbert and one son, Elliott J. Gilbert; Mother and father, Angela and Sterling Gilbert and his Dad, Gregory Buckner; grandmother, Diana; and grandfather, Robert Brooks; 3 brothers, Tristan Buckner, Gregory Elliott Buckner, and Desmond Buckner; 3 sisters, Allison Woodell, Toya Gilbert, and Katrina Buckner; aunts, Kathy, Michelle, and Melinda; 1 niece, Noelle Muniz and 1 nephew, Jadora King; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
