Cody Grissom

Cody James Grissom, 28, of Belleview, passed away on January 18th 2025 in Belleview surrounded by family and friends.
Cody was born in Leesburg FL to James and Tonja Grissom on May 7th 1996. He went to school at Lake Weir High School. He married Kaytlyn Renae Grissom on January 22nd 2022 in Summerfield FL. He worked as an off road heavy equipment operator for R&L carriers building the World equestrian center for 6 consecutive years. He was involved in many clubs to name a few the jeep club, truck club and many more. He enjoyed fishing with his dad, trail riding with his mom, working on odd and ends with his brothers Justin Wells, and Ian Grissom. He enjoyed hanging out on the boat with his wife and daughter Reagan Rayne. He enjoyed life, and every little thing brought so much joy, working in the shop, home remodels and just sitting at home.
Cody is preceded in death by his great grandmother Toni Stockraham, His wife's cousin Tanner Barr, wifes great grandfather George Stephan, and Randy Barr and Leo Betz. Cody is survived by Kaytlyn Grissom (27) his daughter Reagan Grissom (22 months), His brothers Justin Wells, and Ian Grissom and his brother in law Justin Stephan along with sisters Breana Grissom, Mariah Grissom and Jazmyn Grissom along with his sister in law Zoey Betz. Cody's parents live with the loss of their son Tonja & James Grissom. Cody is also remembered by his in-laws Jackie and Doug Betz, Father in law Jason Stephan. He is also remembered by many more friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 12pm-2pm on January 24th 2025 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services located at 5946 SE Robinson Rd, Belleview FL 34420 with Ben Reams pastor of First Baptist Church of Belleview, officiating. Burial will follow at Belleview Cemetery ( new part ). Arrangements are by Hiers- Baxley Funeral Services
