Cody Aaron Roberts, a man of gentle strength, courageous spirit, and
passionate heart, passed away on August 27, 2023. Cody's life was a testament
to the power of resilience, the importance of laughter, and the enduring
strength of family bonds. He was born on January 1, 1990, in Delano, CA, and
his journey of 33 years, full of vigor and vitality, ended in Bakersfield, CA.
The son of Kelly and Melissa Roberts, Cody was the dynamic center of a loving
family that also included his siblings: Cameron, Desiree, Corey, Curtis, and
Cassandra. Their shared laughter, love, and support were the foundation of
Cody's strength and determination. Cody's family was his fortress, his
sanctuary, and his source of endless inspiration.
Cody was a proud graduate of Wasco Union High School, where he first
discovered his love for cars. His fascination with engines, horsepower, and
speed was more than a hobby-it was a passion that fueled his spirit and
ignited his imagination. Cody could often be found engaged in animated
discussions about the latest automotive innovations. His love for cars was a
testament to his curiosity, and his unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
Cody was also a passionate gamer, finding joy and camaraderie in the virtual
worlds he explored. He was a master at strategizing, a fearless adventurer, and
an unbeatable opponent. His love for video games was not just about the thrill
of competition, but about the connections he made and the friendships he
formed. Cody's gaming friends became an extended family, sharing in his
triumphs, his defeats, and his relentless spirit of adventure.
In addition, Cody was a regular presence on YouTube, sharing his love for cars
and gaming with a wider audience. His videos were a testament to his passion,
his knowledge, and his unique ability to make complex concepts accessible
and engaging.
Cody's life was cut short by Non-Hoskin's Lymphoma, but his spirit remains
vibrant and alive in the memories of those who loved him. His legacy is not
defined by his illness, but by the strength, courage, and passion he displayed
throughout his life. Cody faced his diagnosis as he lived-with bravery, with
determination, and with an unwavering sense of humor.
In our hearts, Cody Aaron Roberts remains a beacon of resilience, a testament
to the power of love, and a shining example of a life lived with passion and
purpose. As we remember Cody, let us draw strength from his courage, find
joy in his laughter, and honor his memory by living our own lives with passion,
purpose, and a generous heart.
