Colby Hensley, passed away on February 11, 2024, at his home in Toone, Tennessee. He was born on January 27, 1999, in Jackson, Tennessee. Colby had a passion for logging and began his career in the field at the young age of 16.

Outside of logging, Colby had a variety of hobbies and interests that he enjoyed throughout his life. He had a deep love for fishing and spent many serene moments casting his line into rivers and lakes, appreciating the beauty of nature. Additionally, Colby found joy in riding dirt bikes, especially exploring back roads and experiencing the thrill of adventure.

An avid music lover, Colby always had a song playing in the background. Whether he was working or relaxing, music accompanied him through every aspect of life. It brought him comfort and served as a constant companion during both joyful and challenging times.

Colby cherished spending time outdoors and had a natural affinity for nature. The tranquility he found outside grounded him and provided solace amidst the chaos of daily life. He often found himself working on his truck, not just out of necessity but also as a way to connect with the world around him.

Colby will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Redgie Hensley, Barbara Hensley, his paternal grandmother, his maternal grandmother Flora Webster and his maternal grandfather, Buddy Earnest.

Colby leaves behind a grieving yet resilient family. Carrie and Pete Brazelton of Toone, his mother and stepfather respectively, will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Reba Hensley of Toone, Candace Stevens (Brandon) of Hernando, MS, and Erica Woodka (Brendan) of Chicago, IL were not only his sisters but also his confidants and best friends. John Hensley Jr., his grandfather from Saulsbury, played a significant role in Colby's life by providing guidance and support. Joyce Earnest of Somerville served as an understanding step-grandmother who offered compassion during difficult times.

Colby's nieces, Rylee Grace, Rylie, and Raegan, as well as his nephew Wyatt, will always remember him as the loving uncle who showered them with affection and brought laughter into their lives.
