Of Hudson, New Hampshire formerly of Waltham, died tragically as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. On Thursday evening February 20th, his life was cut short months before his 27th birthday and wedding, by a wrong-way drunk driver in Amsterdam, New York.
Born on May 8, 1998 in Newton; beloved son of Donald Sevigny and Julie Politis. Cole lived till the age of 6 in Waltham until the family moved to Hudson, New Hampshire in 2004.
A graduate of Alvirine High School with the Class of 2015, he had been employed with his father in the family business "DC" ATM Systems as a Technician.
Cole was a gentle giant, a big teddy bear with a heart of gold, loving, caring, and compassionate, always willing to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was an intellectual and deep thinker, curious and interested about everything and anything around him. He was a gamer, who enjoyed playing Dungeon & Dragons and Chess especially with his uncle Chris. He had many different hobbies & interests over the years including collecting cards.
He lived his life to the fullest and cherished the moments spent with his friends and family. Nine years ago, he met the love of his life Rain and had planned the wedding of his dreams for August.
"The measure of your worth is in the lives you've touched and the love you leave behind when you're gone". You don't have to look hard to measure the worth of the life lived and the lives touched by Cole Michael Sevigny.
Cole is survived by his beloved parents Julie Politis and Donald "Donnie" Sevigny; the love of his life and Fiance' Rain Vargas; his loving sister Cori Sevigny; cherished grandparents Andrew and Margaret Politis; Donald F. Sevigny and Susan; his dear aunts, uncles and cousins; Richie and Robin Sevigny and their children Sara and Richie Jr.; Michael Sevigny; Dennis and Nicole Carrafiello and their children Taylor, Jordan and Alex; Mark Politis and Jeannine and their children Morgan and Evan; Christopher Politis and his daughter Madisyn and her daughter Lilly. In addition, he is survived by his dog "Storm", and numerous friends, who will all miss him dearly.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Cole and his family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on THURSDAY February 27th from 3pm until 7pm.
