It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Coleen S. Roska, BSN, RN age 64 of Canton. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 18, 2025 at home, exactly one year to the date from her cancer diagnosis.
Born December 17, 1960 in Canton to the late Gerald and Constance (Krone) Donahue. Coleen was a Canton South graduate and dedicated her career of 46 years to nursing at Aultman Hospital. Beyond work, Coleen was an active member at St. George’s Catholic Cathedral and vice president of the ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed reading on her kindle; was an amazing cook, Christmas was her favorite holiday; she enjoyed watching all sports, especially watching her children and grandchildren’s events.
Coleen was a true example of selfless, calm, kind, patient, creative, intuitive and empathetic. This explains her character in every aspect of her life.
More than anything, Coleen cherished her family. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles Roska; daughter and son-in-law Lauren and Peter Tsaftarides; daughter and son-in-law Kristin and David Glyder; 4 grandchildren Jordan, Celia, Gage and Bennett; 3 brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry, Gil (Megan) and Greg Donahue; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
