Colleen P. Molter

Colleen is survived by her beloved husband Douglas, dearest sons Dustin (Kelly) and Michael, cherished grandchildren Michael, Victoria, Nicholas, Grace and William, mother Joan Kiernan and brothers Russell (Shelley) Kiernan, Vincent Kiernan and Sean Kiernan. She was the loving aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. A loyal friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Colleen, a proud graduate of NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering holding a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, began her career as a systems engineer and manager at IBM in 1979. She taught as an adjunct professor at both NYU Polytechnic and NYIT, while also consulting at prominent Wall Street firms.Colleen founded QED National in 1993, a professional information technology services firm, where she served as President and CEO for the remainder of her career.
Colleen loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid boater, beach lover, Yankees fan, and a dedicated Catholic. She will always be remembered for her generous heart, friendly demeanor, humor and intellect. Her light will continue to shine on through the memories of all who loved her.
A wake will be held at Macken Mortuary in Rockville Centre, NY on Thursday, June 22 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Colleen's funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 23 at 9:45am at St Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, NY. She will be laid to rest immediately following at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
