Colleen Foy Webb

Colleen was born October 18, 1935 to Rex Clarence and Ida Mae (Horrocks) Foy in the beautiful ranch lands of Arcadia, UT. She was raised in Duchesne, UT along with her sisters-Sally, Arabelle and Ida Jean. Her family later moved to Salt Lake City where her brother Greg was born. She attended South High School and upon graduation, worked at Summerhays Music as a secretary.

Colleen's life was forever changed when she was introduced to her friend Carol's brother, Robert. He had just returned home serving in the Korean War.

They fell head over heels and began their 70 year love story. They married on June 10, 1955 and began their married lives in Murray, Utah, where they later welcomed their daughter, Cindy.

Little did they know that Bob's exciting career as an engineer would take them all over the world.

Their first stop- California, where their son, Gordon, was born. The Webbs lived in the Bay Area for 10 lovely years.

In her free time, Colleen loved to volunteer with the church and in the community. She especially cherished her memories working with handicapped children. Then the Webb family moved to Wheaton, IL just outside of Chicago.

Colleen met so many welcoming people and made many wonderful friends. After Chicago, they moved to Philadelphia, Japan, back to the Bay Area and Hinsdale, IL, and then to Singapore.

Colleen loved living over seas and treasured her memories of traveling all over the world.

Colleen was naturally an amazing wife and mother. The only thing she might have loved more than being a mother was being a grandmother. Colleen absolutely adored her duties as "Nanny" as she was affectionately called by Eric, Tori, Jade and Sean. Colleen and Bob celebrated retirement with returning to the US and settling in Incline Village, Nevada at Lake Tahoe. They made many wonderful family memories there. They later moved to Washington, UT and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being back home in Utah.

Colleen spent her life sharing her love, kindness, compassion, bright smile and laughter with everyone she encountered. She was a faithful, life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she fulfilled many callings, including positions in the Stake and ward Primary presidency, and District and Ward Relief Society presidency. She considered her time in Singapore as a "mission" helping the members to better understand the gospel.

She is survived by her loving husband and eternal companion, Robert; daughter, Cindy (Brett) Bilsborough; son, Gordon (Toni) Webb; grandchildren; Eric (Katie) Frazier, Tori (Chris) O'Neill, Jade and Sean Webb; great- grandchildren, Wolfgang, Gunnar, and Bronson Frazier. She is also survived by her loving siblings- Greg (Kaye) Foy, Sally (Steve) Berger, Arabelle Brown and Ida Jean (Coy) Wiley along with her sister-in-law and "matchmaker" Carol Hamilton and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at The Kensington at Walnut Creek Senior Living Center and VITAS Healltcare and in particular her loving hospice nurse Kaitlyn for their care during the last few months.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery Dixon, California. The services will be broadcast on Zoom.
