Collin Hall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home & Crematory - South Naperville (Route 59) on Feb. 10, 2025.
Collin Daniel Hall, 24, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Aurora, Illinois.
Born on March 4, 2000 Collin grew up with a passion for learning and adventure. He graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School before continuing his education at Illinois State University. His dedication to service led him to enlist in the Army Reserves MP division. During his time with the 822nd, Collin deployed in 2021 and was awarded the medal of achievement that same year.
Collin built a career at CarMax, where he worked for 5 years and formed lasting connections with colleagues who became family. Beyond work and military service, Collin had a deep love for Scouts BSA, baseball, Volleyball and music- especially percussion. His enthusiasm for cars was well known among friends and family. Whether spending time with loved ones or engaging in his many interests, Collin brought energy and commitment to every thing he did.
When it comes to describing Collin it might depend on who you speak to...
Collin was everyone's best friend. Friends use words like sarcastic, genuine, loyal, hilarious, impulsive, competitive and always up for the next adventure. Coworkers would say he was a hard worker, great leader, mentor, full of compassion, never complained and could flip any bad situation into a better one. Family says he enjoyed getting under your skin, giving you a hard time, affectionate and kind. He was the easiest to talk to. Collin was the glue bond in many of his relationships. His laughter was contagious and pure joy.
Collin is survived by his mother, Tomi Saunders (Tony McCoy); his sister, Tori Hall; and his nephew, Carson. He is also lovingly remembered by his godparents, Belinda and Greg Justice; his grandfather, James Hall (fiancé Diana); and Collin's girlfriend, Madeline Flaskamp. Additionally, he leaves behind his extended families at BSA Scout Troop 508, the 822nd Military Police Company, CarMax, and his closest friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Christopher Hall, grandparents Richard and Margaret Saunders, and great grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Beidlman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, located at 24021 Royal Worlington Drive in Naperville, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM.
Collin was baptized at birth and later confirmed in August 2018. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness and dedication.
