Colonel Taft Obituary
Mr. Colonel Dale Taft, age 61, of Axson, Ga. passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at AdventHealth Hospital in Dade City, Fl.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Chelsea Taft and husband Donnie Jordan of Dupont, Ga.
Son: Dale Taft and wife Brittany of Shiloh, Ga.
Mother of Children: Pam Taft of Homerville, Ga.
2 Brothers: Henry Taft and girlfriend Susan of Axson, Ga.
John Taft and wife Teresa of Axson, Ga.
Sister: Shermilee Taylor and husband Ben of Axson, Ga.
8 Grandchildren: Levi Jordan, Zackary Frazier, Drew Booth, Hannah Booth, Gavin Jordan, Dale Jr. Taft, Slayton Taft and Silas Taft.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Mr. Taft is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Edward and Mary Catherine Tracey Taft and 2 brothers, William Taft and Robert Taft.
Funeral services for Mr. Taft will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Britt Peavey officiating. The internment will follow at Axson Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Taft will be Monday, September 16, 2024 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Relihan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
