Colson was born November 21, 2023 to Mother and Father Kathryn "Katie" L. and Tyler G. Murtlow at Community South Hospital in Greenwood, Indiana, just in time to be home with this family on Thanksgiving Day.
Colson is survived by his parents, Katie and Tyler; sisters, Skylynn and Everleigh, grandparents, Kristy Barnes, Brandon Barnes, Chandra Murtlow, John Murtlow, Kyle Swartz, and Marie Swartz; aunts, Rhiannon Hincy, Kassidy Hincy, Ashley Lauk, Tara Murtlow, and Jessi Barnes; uncles, James Barnes, Travis Swartz, Jacob Barnes, Lucas Barnes, Kaleb Barnes, Nicholas Barnes, Christian Barnes, Kameron Lauk, Collin Murtlow, Jay Murtlow, and Wesley Gebrosky; and 10 cousins.
Colson may have not spent much time with us here on Earth, but the impact he has left on his family's hearts will last a lifetime. He was such a happy little guy. He laughed a lot, especially at his big sisters. Colson particularly was fond of snuggles from mommy and daddy, his fingers, and his Dock-a-tot pillow.
Visitation will be at Costin Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
