Coltin James Perron

Coltin James Perron, 30, of Ozawkie, died on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025. Coltin was born on October 11,1995 in Alexandria, LA, the son of Carissa Renee Perron. He was a 2014 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. Coltin spent his teenage years in the rough stock rodeo scene riding bulls and continued living out his passion for cowboying working as a ranch hand. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

Coltin married Sydney Angeline Braden on June 27, 2023 in Oskaloosa. She survives. Survivors include a daughter, Linny Jean Perron, his mother, Carissa R. (Brian) Coursen, Perry, maternal grandfather, Jim Perron, Perry, one sister, Laikyn Coursen, Lawrence, two brothers, Jamie Dupuis Jr, Williamstown, Krystopher Coursen, Perry and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Barnett Family Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Coltin's casket will remain closed. Following the gathering, his burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry.
