Connie Belknap Obituary
Born October 31, 1955, in Summit County, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosemary (Mace) Masten. Connie moved with her family to Tuscarawas County as a young lady and graduated from Claymont High School in 1974. She enjoyed cooking and worked hard all of her life. Connie was employed as a cook on a fishing boat in Oregon, as a home health aide and as a waitress at Denny's in New Philadelphia.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Nicholas "Nick" Masten; her sister and brothers, Becky Beitzel, Steve (Marilyn) Masten, Wayne (Janice) Matsel, Gary (Collette) and Jeff Masten; her sister-in-law, Royann Matsel; and her nieces and nephews; besides her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Wagner; and her brother, David Matsel.
She will be cremated through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, and her family will hold their own private time of remembrance.
Contributions in Connie's memory may be made to Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County, 211 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
