Regina Ann “Gina” Dickey, 53, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after a sudden illness. Born in Dennison, Ohio on December 28, 1971, she was a daughter of Raymond Glenn Rees, Jr. and Donna Jean (Geckler) Rees of Venice, Florida.
After her graduation from Claymont High School in 1990, Gina earned her Associate Degree in Business from Kent State University Tuscarawas. She was a production support manager at Marlite in Dover since 2012, having previously been employed by the former Howden Buffalo in New Philadelphia. Gina was a sports enthusiast who especially loved basketball and will be remembered for coaching girls’ basketball at Claymont and Conotton Valley Schools. Most of all, Gina cherished the time that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. In Gina’s passing, the world has lost a truly kind and generous soul who never hesitated to give of herself to others through her time, her attention, and her love.
In addition to her parents, she will be deeply missed by her children, Sierra (Doug) Hewison and Zackary Dickey; grandchildren, Dayne, Dominic, Dallas and Daxton Hewison, and Hazel Dickey; sisters, Tonia Rees and Angela (Aaron) Kochman; nieces and nephew, Kelsey (Jake) Davis, Kale Kochman, and Ashlin King; and many dear friends and co-workers.
Gina’s family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. In recognition of her love for animals, those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to make donations to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
