Holly Lynn Robin, 65, of Dennison, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home while surrounded by her loving and devoted family on September 30, 2025. Born on December 22, 1959 in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Robert Eugene and Patricia Ann (Patterson) Wharton.
Holly was a lifelong Twin City resident and a 1978 graduate of Claymont High School. Many will remember her as a cashier at Mako’s Market in Uhrichsville where her friendly face greeted customers for twenty years. When she wasn’t working, Holly loved spending time with the love of her life, Gary Robin, whom she married on August 27, 1994 at Shalimar Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada – especially when they could go for motorcycle rides together. She loved riding down to West Virginia for trips to the casinos in Wheeling, as well as going camping. Holly was also a thrill seeker who loved a good fright, whether from going to haunted houses or watching her favorite movie, Jaws.
Holly will be deeply missed by her husband Gary; daughter, Amy (Chris) McDonald; grandchildren, Mercedes Cantu, Penelope Cantu, and Kyleigh McDonald; sister, Cathy Jean (Bill) Helter; brother-in-law, Roger McDonald; nephews, Michael (Sarah) McDonald, Scott (Danielle) Richardson, and Nathan (Nikita) Richardson; niece, Sherry (partner, Cheryl Johnson) Wharton; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind many dear co-workers with whom she enjoyed spending time, especially when they could go out to eat together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann McDonald; brother, Terry Wharton; nephew, John McDonald; and her fur baby, Snowball.
In keeping with Holly’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation, and her family will celebrate her life privately. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Tuscarawas Rainbow Connection located on 119 3rd St NW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663, in lieu of flowers.
26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621
